A responsibility that keeps heritage alive
For Saya Holding, the Klaros Sacred Site is not merely an ancient ruin but a shared heritage carrying the traces of the past from today into the future.
Saya Holding has turned its ongoing work at the Klaros Sacred Site into concrete conservation efforts. Within this scope, the colossal marble cult statues of Apollo, Artemis and Leto, exposed to water and weather for many years, have been taken under protection. The statues were documented with 3D laser scanning before and after relocation, and their conservation has been largely completed.
The protective shelter, prepared so that the statues can be exhibited in place and approved by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, has been realised with the support of Saya Holding. All work is carried out under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and in cooperation with academic teams.
