How to get there, what to see
At the site you can see the foundations and architecture of the temples of Apollo and Artemis, the altars, the sacred way, the entrance building, the exedrae, the honorific monuments, and the eight-metre-tall monumental cult statues of Apollo, Artemis and Leto.
In 2011 an open-air museum was established — a “cast archaeopark” displaying faithful replicas of the artefacts unearthed at the Klaros oracle. Klaros is the first of its kind in Turkey. Besides the statues of Homer, Apollo and Artemis found here, the archaeopark also displays korai and kouroi, among the earliest examples of the art of statuary. The original artefacts are exhibited at the Selçuk Ephesus Museum, the Izmir Archaeological Museum and the Izmir Culture and Arts Factory.
