How to get there, what to see
Klaros lies in Ahmetbeyli, in the Menderes district of Izmir, about 50 kilometres from the city centre. The valley by the Aegean stretches between the ancient cities of Colophon and Notion.
At the site you can see the foundations and columns of the Temple of Apollo, the altars, the sacred way and the adyton. The original statues are displayed in the Izmir Archaeological Museum, while the on-site archaeopark conveys the scale through marble casts.
